reTYREing director at Total Foodservice tells colleagues ‘get on their bike’
Graham Sheard, director at Total Foodservice is marking his retirement by persuading colleagues to take part in a charity coast-to-coast bike ride.
Keen cyclist Graham, who has worked for Total Foodservice for more than 16 years is handing over his role as Purchasing Manager to his son Jason and marking his retirement with a cycle ride for fifteen employees from Whitehaven in Cumbria to Tynemouth, Tyne and Wear for East Lancashire Hospice.
Graham, who is 64, has raised over £10,000 for various charities in just three years. “My time at Total Foodservice has been a complete pleasure, and I want to leave a lasting memory with my colleagues. What better way to that than by putting them through the pain of a coast-to-coast bike ride! In all seriousness, it’s for a fantastic cause- East Lancashire Hospice does amazing work – and I really do want to mark my retirement with something a little special, says Graham.”
Total Foodservice’s managing director, Simon Howarth, said, “ I can’t think of a more fitting way for Graham to mark the start of his retirement. The board of directors and all of Total Foodservice’s staff would like to thank Graham for his unwavering dedication to our customers and the success of the business, and we wish him an energetic and cycling-packed retirement.”
